Book Blogger Appreciation Week Question:
What is a book/genre/author that you tried that was unexpected to you?
The whole book blogging world is, to me, an unexpected treasure. I've been involved in other online communities that I love, as well, but I love the diversity and uniqueness of each book blog I come across. Even those of us with similar interests have an different approach or angle we take on the whole thing due to our own experiences.
An author I discovered due to the influence of another blogger was Heidi Ayarbe. I won Freeze Frame from Kari at A Good Addiction, and I loved the book upon reading it. It isn't something I would've pulled off the shelf on my own, but the reality of this type of writing really drew me in. Now I can't wait to read Heidi's latset book, Compromised, which I actually have sitting on my shelf from the library.What about you? What is one of your unexpected treasures?

You know, Amelia from Imagination in Focus told me to try Percy Jackson, and it was one of the best moves I've made. I absolutely adored the series :)
